Three weeks after a state-appointed Emergency Manager used new powers to suspend all elected boards in the city of Benton Harbor, Gov. Rick Snyder was met with protests when he went to that city to march as the Grand Marshall of the annual Blossomtime parade.

Three weeks after a state-appointed Emergency Manager used new powers to suspend all elected boards in the city of Benton Harbor, Gov. Rick Snyder was met with protests when he went to that city to march as the Grand Marshall of the annual Blossomtime parade.
While the protesters yelled “recall Rick” at him as he passed by, Snyder mostly ignored them and waved to the crowd. Here’s a Youtube video of a few minutes of the peaceful and loud protest:
