The event is receiving significant institutional muster, with the Metropolitan Washington Council of AFL-CIO lending its organizing hand. Chris Garlock, a spokesperson for the labor group told The American Independent a march onto The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is planned for 3pm.
The Washington Peace Center has organizedmusic and guest speakers to energize the demonstration crowds, whose numbers are skyrocketing. Tuesday’s turnout had only about 30 participants.
Sources close to the planning of the event told TAI that labor employees have been asked to volunteer their time and vehicles to corral more attendees.
