A new poll shows Michiganders are not satisfied with Gov. Snyder and the direction in which he is taking the state.
According to the poll, 51 percent of the voters say the state is on the wrong track and 57 percent give Gov. Snyder a negative job rating, reportsThe Associated Press.
However, according to the poll, people do think the economy is starting to improve.
Forty percent of the 600 likely voters surveyed by Lansing-based EPIC-MRA in a poll released Tuesday say the state economy has bottomed out and is starting to improve, while a third say it has bottomed out but isn’t getting any better.
A quarter expect the economy to get worse and 3 percent are undecided.
In May 2010, when Michigan’s jobless rate was 2.5 percentage points higher than now, only 35 percent said the economy was starting to improve.
