Denver Lags Behind St. Paul in Security Details

A security gap of sorts has emerged between the hosts of this summer’s dueling national political conventions, the Colorado Independent has found. City officials in St. Paul, site of September’s Republican convention, have released its plans for permitted parade routes, purchases of non-lethal weapons for use in crowd control, and a map of areas to be set aside for protests (no word yet on how they’ll compare to 2004’s chain-link "Free Speech Zones").
