State Sen. Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey, was a major proponentof a statewide prescription drug monitoring database that will soon be implemented in Florida. #
“By removing them from the home the drugs are no longer accessible to people who may be inclined, especially children, to try or use drugs that were not prescribed for them,” says Greg Giordano, Fasano’s chief legislative aide. “Hopefully lives will be saved, and people will be spared the possibility of becoming addicted to drugs that were never meant for them. #
