Palin: Report Saying I Broke the Law Vindicates Me

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — I was surprised to see Gov. Sarah Palin’s response to the Troopergate report released on Friday. The governor seems to think that the report, which concludes she violated a state ethics law, actually vindicates her.
“„“Well, I’m very, very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing … any hint of any kind of unethical activity there,” the governor said from her car on the way to a campaign stop in Philadelphia.

I’m not sure how to reconcile Palin’s statement on the report with, well, the report.
