You’d be forgiven, given the holiday, if you missed the full page ad in The New York Times paid for by a group deeming itself the “WomenCount PAC,” demanding that the votes from the non-primary primaries in Michigan and Florida be counted towards the Democratic Party presidential nomination. The ad asks for people to join in a “Count Every Vote Rally” this Saturday—the same day that the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee is scheduled to meet about what to do about the two states.
“Across this Country, Hillary has been speaking for us,” the ad reads, “Her voice has been our voice. Now, it is time to stand up and raise our voice for her!”
According to a linkon the PAC’s websiteto a group called “Hillary Rapid Responders,” supporters will rally from 7 am to 4 pm outside the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel where the DNC committee will be meeting. Stay tuned from a blog from yours truly at the site.
