ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Associated Press reportsthat Gov. Sarah Palin has amended Alaska travel disclosure forms to note that her children were performing state business when they were brought on trips, even to those in which they were not invited.
In all, Palin has billed the state $21,012 for travel for her daughters, plus hotel rooms in some instances. She did not report the reimbursements as income on her tax returns, which some tax experts have criticized.
Palin has already taken heat for not including $17,000 in per diem payments on her tax returns. She collected most of the payments on nights she spent at her home in Wasilla.
