On McCain, Voters More Worried About Palin Than Iraq, Economy

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A new MSNBC/Wall Street Journal pollfinds that voters are concerned about Gov. Sarah Palin’s ability to fill the role of vice president.

“„Now, Palin’s qualifications to be president rank as voters’ top concern about McCain’s candidacy — ahead of continuing President Bush’s policies, enacting economic policies that only benefit the rich and keeping too high of a troop presence in Iraq.
The poll found that her favorability rating has flip-flopped since September. While 47 percent of voters say they view her negatively now, a month ago 47 percent said they viewed her positively.
About 55 percent of voters say she is not qualified to be vice president.
