Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun Times reportsthat Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is picking up three home state superdelgates today. Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Illinois House Majority Leader Barbara Flynn Currie and Cook County Board President Todd Stroger are all pledging their support.
Meanwhile, Mark Halperin also reportsthat John Patrick, a member of United Steelworkers and Vice President of the Texas AFL-CIO, is also going to Obama.
