Less than 24 hours after he told National Public Radio that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is thoroughly unqualifiedto assume the presidency, should the need arise, a despondent and, at times, stammering Eagleburger appeared today on Fox News to repent and offer a nearly 180-degree endorsement of Palin. Take a look:
Just to review, per Eagleburger:
a) He’s stupid;
b) Palin is chockful of experience and is a quick learner;
c) Obama is a flim-flam artist who has never done anything of value.
Did anyone else get the impression that just off-camera there may have been a high-level McCain staffer pressing a pistol into Eagleburger’s ribs?
