Two years ago, SurveyUSApolled a hypothetical head-to-head contest between Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain. Here’s the resulting electoral map:
Obama wins just his two home states of Hawaii and Illinois and the Republican-proof District of Columbia. The electoral vote count: 510 to 28.
It’s safe to say that tonight’s electoral map will look just a bit different.
