The Obama-Biden transition team announced today that, per tradition, Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne, have invited Vice President-elect Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, to the Naval Observatory in Washington tomorrow for a tour of the vice president’s official residence.
Much like President-elect Barack Obama’s meeting with President George W. Bush on Monday, Biden and Cheney are scheduled to meet privately.
That certainly has the potential to be a lively conversation. I wonder if Cheney remembers this, from the vice presidential debate in October:

Of course, we can probably expect the meeting will be cordial and professional. But Biden would be wise to decline any further invitations to go, say, duck hunting.
