Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) announced this afternoon that on April 17 the House oversight committee will hold a hearingon the Army’s $300 million contract to AEY Inc., reportedtoday in the New York Times.
The hearing will explore all the horrible stuffthe New York Times documented this morning, including selling broken Cold War ammo to the Afghanistan government. Waxman has cordially invited22 year-old AEY president, and Andy Samburg dead-ringer, Efraim E. Diveroli to testify.
There is no word yet from Sen. Joesph I. Lieberman’sSenate oversight committee whether they will also hold a hearing or investigate the matter.
