If The Washington Post gets its math right, the Democrats have a mess on their hands.
As Paul Kane explains it,
It is now basically mathematically impossible for either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama to win the Democratic presidential nomination through the regular voting process (meaning the super-delegates decide this one, baby!).
A decision to count the votes from Florida and Michigan — which were stripped of their delegates by the DNC when they decided to hold early primaries — might change the equation. But that would create another mess.
