As the fight over gay domestic partnerships rages on in New Mexico, TWI’s sister site, The New Mexico Independent, reports that the battle is drawing the attention of outside interest groups — particularly the Alliance Defense Fund, a conservative, Arizona-based Christian organization, and the Catholic Church.
With the support of ADF, the New Mexico GOP Monday released a survey of voters in the state, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies — a Republican polling firm — purporting to show that New Mexicans are solidly opposed to domestic partnerships.
