Back at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, Victory Solutions Oasis and Rebuild the Party held a post-dinner party with a special guest, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty. After the governor gave a short speech, he took one question – “What about [former Sen.] Norm Coleman?”
That’s in litigation. I will tell you this – there’s multiple levels of court process that could take place depending on what goes next. One or the other candidates could decide not to take it that far. But if they go all the way with the Coleman-Franken legal process, it could end up in the Supreme Court before you have a U.S. senator.
That’s a bit less punchy than what Pawlenty told reportersthe next day.
