But the Defense Department hasn’t permitted people to photograph him.
But Jane Mayer, national treasure and national security reporter for The New Yorker, has acquired a picture of al-Marri. A source of hers hints that “this change in policy regarding the release of detainee photos may soon extend to Guantánamo,” as well.
