Ben Smith callsJudge James Robertson’s memo dismissing Hollister v. Soetoro a “birther smackdown,” and he’s right. The suit, which — as the more racist birthers like to do — refers to the president of the United States as “Barry Soetoro.”
This case, if it were allowed to proceed, would deserve mention in one of those books that seek to prove that the law is foolish or that America has too many lawyers with not enough to do.
In other Birther News, the director of 2008 “McCain-Palin” mob videoasked Ohio “tea party” protesters about the president’s citizenship. Hilarity ensued. You can read Judge Robertson’s memo and watch the tea party video after the jump.
