KROFT: You’re sitting here. And you’re laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, ‘I mean, he’s sitting there just making jokes about money?’ How do you deal with — I mean: explain … Are you punch-drunk?

Unfortunately for Obama, he was giggling during the question, which made Kroft’s question seem as though Kroft was challenging him at that very moment. It made Obama look unserious.

Laughing and giggling at odd moments, Obama looked completely out of His element. Croft actually asked tough questions, rather than the softballs The Anointed One is used to getting.
It’s almost as if Politico decidedthat this was the real takeaway from the interview and got a Drudge link for its story. The president’s “favorable” rating, the proportion of Americans who simply like the man without considering his job performance, is 64 percent — the idea that he should be smiling and laughing less will come as a surprise to them.
