TPM’s Eric Kleefeld reports that the Minnesota Supreme Court has unanimously ruled in favor of Democrat Al Frankenin his Senate election contest with former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.), reaffirming a previous decision by a lower court.
UPDATE: The decision is here(pdf). The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled that Franken is “entitled … to receive the certificate of election as United States Senator from the State of Minnesota.” Whether Minnesota’s Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty interprets this as an order to certify the election — which he has said he would obey— remains to be seen.
