The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has sent out an email from Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) paying tribute to Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.). While not explicitly asking for donations, Van Hollen ties Kennedy’s legacy to health care reform.
Senator Kennedy said that ‘health care is the fight of his life.’ Today, we pick up the torch and recommit ourselves to health insurance reform.
On Twitter, there’s a sense of Republican dread about whether Democrats will “exploit” sympathy for Kennedy to push for a progressive health care bill. Here’s the first salvo.
