Yesterday, I noted that former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) had endorsedDoug Hoffman, the Conservative Party’s candidate for an upstate New York congressional seat vacated by Secretary of the Army John McHugh. Since then, the Club for Growth and the American Conservative Union’s PAC have endorsed Hoffman. From the ACU PAC’s press release on this:
“„The GOP candidate, NY Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava, “stands for higher taxes, bigger government, anti-family policies and just about everything that Republican voters oppose. The fact that she was ranked as the third most liberal member of the entire, very liberal, New York State Assembly says it all, ” Keene said.
