Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) took to the chamber floor this morning to make an announcement that few on Capitol Hill want to hear: Congress will likely stick around through the week of Columbus Day, rather than taking the scheduled recess, Roll Call reported.
“„“With all the things going on here, it just would not be right for us to take that week off,” Reid said on the Senate floor.[...]
