Until the facts are known, let’s all refrain from commentary. I hear snippets from CNN already suggesting that the gunmen are suffering from combat stress from multiple deployments. “We don’t know at this point who was involved in the shooting, but that is something the Army is trying to tackle,” some CNN anchor just said. I don’t know how they can say that before the identities of the shooters are ascertained.
Update, 4:28 p.m.: CNN now says nine people have been killed.
