One of the first things I did when arriving in Kabul was to take out my video camera and record as much of the hour-long ride to Bagram Airfield as I could. To be totally candid, I didn’t have a clue what to expect. Would Kabul be a war-torn but still modern capitol, as Baghdad is? Or would it brim with the destitution and desolation I would encounter along the Pakistani border. As I found, the answer was: Both. Here’s what I found.
