Comparing the event to a Nigerian scam email, Erickson frets that “the tea party movement has largely descended into ego and quest for purpose for individuals at the expense of what the tea party movement started out to be.” And he says Sarah Palin is making a mistake by giving a speech that cost organizers a rumored $100,000.
