So says CongressDaily’s Anna Edney, who reportsthat Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.), chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, predicted today that the Democrats will have a merged bill to the Congressional Budget Office in a “couple days.”
That’s a much different message than the one coming from House leaders yesterday, when it looked like the negotiations would be pushed into February. Looks like that eight-hour marathon meetingat the White House Wednesday might have borne some fruit.
