In 2005, University of Colorado Regent Tom Lucerogained a smidgen of national attention for his role in investigating — and eventually stripping of tenure — Ward Churchill, a left-wing professor who called workers in the World Trade Center “little Eichmanns.” Lucero’s been running for Congress in the 4th District — Republican turf captured by Rep. Churchill provided a comment on the ad to a student newspaper, the Daily Camera.
