While the Salt Lake City Republican Party responded to the arrest of James O’Keefe by canceling his scheduled speech at an upcoming fundraiser, the embattled anti-ACORN muckraker is still scheduled to give a speechon “undercover journalism” at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco.
The event, which includes blogger Josh Wolf (who went to jail for not handing over video of protesters), is billed this way on the Club’s site: “
Could O’Keefe still appear at this event after a judge ordered himto stay with his parents in New Jersey until the next hearing? I’ve called the Commonwealth Club to find out whether the event will be scrapped; a voicemail message listing current changes and cancellations did not mention the O’Keefe event.
