The dust has settled from our latest hiring spree, and I’m pleased to introduce the two newest members of the TWI team. Jesse Zwick comes to us from The New Republic, where he’s made his mark with some great political coverage. He’ll be digging into national politics for us, using research and investigative techniques to bring you the kinds of in-depth stories you won’t find elsewhere. Jesse’s still finishing up his stint at TNR and won’t be coming fully on board until the 26th, but he couldn’t wait to get started — check out his inaugural posts, on Darrell Issa’s shady dealingsand the Fifth Circuit’s ties to Big Oil.
Andrew Restuccia will be covering one of the biggest stories of the summer and fall (and beyond): the battle in Washington over energy and environmental policy. Andrew’s spent the past two years at Inside Washington Publishers, where he served most recently as an associate editor at Energy Washington, getting inside scoops on the dealings within the energy industry and the broader environmental policy debates. He’ll be starting at TWI on Monday.
