Wide-spread reports (including my own) have it that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will restrict floor amendments on his energy and oil spill response bill. But a source closely involved in efforts to revive a renewable energy standard tells TWI that efforts to craft an amendment on a renewables mandate continue behind the scenes.
In an e-mail, the source says, “There are intensive discussions happening around a potential floor amendment.”
