President Obama will be in Michigan today, but, at least according to his public schedule, he won’t be stopping in Battle Creek, the site of an oil spill that has leaked 1 million gallons of oil into a tributary of the Kalamazoo River. Obama, according to his schedule, will visit a Chrysler plant in Detroit and a General Motors plant in Hamtramck, Mich.
