The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure has scheduled a hearing Sept. 15 on the Enbridge Energy oil pipeline break and the resulting massive oil spill in Michigan.
The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. in the Rayburn House office building.
In recent months, the committee has held a number of hearings on the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, the agency responsible for overseeing pipeline safety. The hearings are part of an effort to reauthorize the agency.
