The Des Moines Registerhas posted several video clips of what appears to be, at times, a tense interview with Sen. John McCain conducted yesterday by the newspaper’s editorial board.
In one clip, McCain strongly rejects a questioner’s suggestion that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is too experienced for the vice presidency.
In the following clip, we see a glimpse of the infamous McCain temper.
When an interviewer asks about the veracity of some of the claims in his ads, McCain clearly has a hard time masking his contempt. Take a look.
When asked how he can restore trust in government without offering the public “100 percent, absolute truth,” McCain responds that he’s “always had 100 percent, absolute truth.”
Of course, this statement is not true, and has been well-documented.
