She began working as a Bible teacher at the George Mueller Christian School after graduation. Charles Stanley was Anna's previous husband. They exchanged wedding vows in 1955.
The couple had two children: a son and a daughter. Their daughter's name is Becky Stanley, and their son's name is Andy Stanley. Andy is the pastor of North Point Ministries, and both of their children are involved in ministry.
