Sam Asghari Files for Divorce From Britney Spears

Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari split up about three weeks ago. According to his divorce file, he wants spousal support and to pay for his own lawyers' fees. Asghari, who is 29 years old, asked a Los Angeles County court late Wednesday to end his 14-month marriage to the 41-year-old pop star. Like almost everyone else who files for divorce in California, he says that he and his wife can't get along anymore.
In his divorce suit, Asghari says that he and his wife have been apart for a month. In a statement on Thursday, his publicist said:
There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos. However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her.- Sam Asghari publicist
Asghari had already said something about the news on Instagram.
After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. Asking for privacy seems rediculous (sp) so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.- Sam Asghari
Spears married Asghari at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, on June 9, 2022. Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Madonna were among the guests at the wedding, which was seen as a turning point in her life after the court conservatorship that ran her life for more than 13 years ended just six months earlier.
They first met on the set of the Slumber Party music video in 2016. She said that one reason she wanted to end the restrictive conservatorship was because she wanted to marry Asghari. She said that the conservatorship was stopping them from doing that. In September of 2021, when it became clear that she would be free of the conservatorship by November of that year, the couple announced their engagement. Spears said that she and Asghari lost a baby early in her pregnancy in May 2022, about a month before they got married.
Asghari, who is 29, is getting married for the first time, while the singer, who is 41, is getting married for the third time. In 2004, she was married to her childhood friend Jason Alexander for less than three days. Alexander tried to crash her wedding to Asghari and was later found guilty of misdemeanor trespassing and battery.
She married dancer Kevin Federline in 2004. During their three-year marriage, Spears would be under a lot of pressure from the media and have more and more problems with her mental health. Federline is the father of her two teenage sons, and he has care of the boys.
After her parents asked the court for it in 2008, Spears was put under the care of a guardian for 13 years. Until the conservatorship ended in November 2021, she could not make her own medical choices or sign contracts, including a legal marriage.
During the conservatorship, in September 2021, court papers showed that she had asked her lawyers to write a prenuptial agreement after getting engaged. The agreement's terms are not known to the public.

Conclusion

Sam Asghari, who is married to Britney Spears, said that the couple has chosen to end their "journey together" after 14 months of marriage. In a plea for divorce that Mr. Asghari, 29, and Ms. Spears, 41, filed on Wednesday and BBC News saw, "irreconcilable differences" were given as the reason.
The couple got engaged in September 2021 and got married in June 2022. The wedding was small but had a lot of famous people there. This year, US media wrote about rumors that they were having problems in their marriage. When her song "Baby One More Time" came out when she was only 16, Ms. Spears became a worldwide star. After that, she had hits like "Toxic," "Womanizer," and "Oops!...I Did It Again."
