The children's mother, Magdalena Mucutuy Valencia, tragically lost her life in the plane crash on May 1, leaving the young survivors stranded in the Amazon jungle.
The pilot of the aircraft, Hernando Murcia Morales, and Yarupari indigenous leader Herman Mendoza Hernández also perished in the accident.
