Charles' portrait will appear on £5, £10, £20, and £50 notes in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, the rest of the design will be similar to current notes, which feature the late Queen Elizabeth II on the front.

The Bank of England has unveiled a new series of banknotes featuring King Charles III, the new monarch.
King Charles is set to be officially crowned at a coronation on May 6, 2023, but he became the new ruler after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died in September.
His new position brings not only a gleaming crown, but also a change to the coins, banknotes, passports, and stamps that previously bore the Queen's face, though the banknotes won't be in circulation for a long time.
King Charles will appear on the front of the banknotes as well as in a 'cameo' in a see-through security window.
It will be some time before the bills are circulated in public, with the notes expected to enter circulation by mid-2024.
The Bank of England has stated that any notes depicting Queen Elizabeth II will circulate alongside the new King Charles notes, which means you won't have to say goodbye to any notes depicting the Queen's face right away.
The Bank of England guarantees that all notes bearing a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II will remain legal tender and can be used as usual.
The King Charles notes will only be printed to replace old, worn banknotes and to meet an increase in overall cash demand to ensure the bank stays in line with Royal Household guidance to minimize the impact of the change.

Although the Bank of England has revealed new note designs, the reverse side will remain unchanged, with the author Jane Austen on the £10 notes, the artist JMW Turner on the £20 notes, and the computer scientist Alan Turing on the £50 notes.
Security features such as holograms and plastic windows will also be retained. The introduction of the note will be one of the most visible changes to royal symbols since the Queen's death in September, alongside new coins, stamps, and the king's CR monogram to be used on state documents and post boxes.
