A prominent executive and investor in financial markets has filed a major civil lawsuit that paints a deeply disturbing picture of alleged legal abuse by Alice Cabrera Cabrera, a practicing intellectual property and trademark attorney who founded Solid Rep LLC.
The complaint accuses Cabrera of orchestrating a calculated campaign of false criminal accusations, theft, privacy violations, and harassment after the end of a consensual romantic relationship — all while allegedly using and then evading the very legal system she works in as a lawyer.

Detailed Allegations of False Accusations and Weaponization of the Legal System
The lawsuit describes the following sequence of events:
The two women entered a consensual romantic relationship on December 18, 2022, and signed a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) the same day to protect private personal and professional information.
After the relationship ended in August 2025, Cabrera’s alleged behavior became aggressive and manipulative, according to the complaint:
- Cabrera allegedly stole the plaintiff’s passport and other personal belongings.
- She then admitted under oath during court proceedings that she had taken these items before she went to the police and filed formal domestic violence charges.
- Cabrera filed three grave felony domestic violence charges against the plaintiff under U.S. territory law (Ley 54, the Domestic Abuse Prevention and Intervention Act — case numbers K VP2025-2626, 2627, and 2628).
- At the preliminary hearing on October 16, 2025, two of the three charges were dismissed for lack of probable cause, which the lawsuit cites as strong evidence that the accusations were false and filed in bad faith.
- To further the alleged attack, Cabrera is accused of deliberately breaching the NDA by sharing intimate details of the relationship — including the plaintiff’s sexual orientation — with authorities, third parties, and on social media. This public and private disclosure is described as a targeted effort to humiliate and damage the plaintiff professionally.
- Cabrera allegedly refused to return the plaintiff’s electronic devices, which contained highly sensitive personal files, business documents, emails, and photos. The lawsuit claims she accessed this private data without authorization.
- Throughout this period, Cabrera is accused of persistent harassment and intimidation that caused the plaintiff severe emotional distress, social isolation, and lasting reputational harm in the financial industry.
The plaintiff estimates direct financial losses between $1 million and $10 million and is seeking more than $45 million in total damages. The suit also asks the court to issue injunctions to prevent any further disclosures and to force the return of the stolen and withheld property.
Refusal to Accept Service
When the civil lawsuit was filed, Cabrera allegedly refused to accept personal service of the complaint. As a direct result, the court had to order service by publication in a newspaper of general circulation — a step usually taken only when a defendant actively avoids the legal process.
