There are a ton of opportunities to make money in the metaverse. Cryptos, art, digital properties, they all have one thing in common: your reward is equal to your investment. As in, skill is not required, but your money is! You may know this as an interest rate (staking instead of certificates of deposit).
The only way to truly gain an appreciating asset in the metaverse is to buy it new and hope for mass adoption. Basically, it's like a fiat currency.
There are a few real estate platforms that have been explored that are not prohibitively expensive, like Decentraland and Sandbox. (Last checked, alpha passes-just to gain access-were going for 3 ETH).

For perspective, someone invested about $250 total into NFTs, digital real estate, and staking cryptos. The returns aren't realized yet, and the interest that will be earned is equivalent to that of a struggling bank in a third-world country. Yes, you are as likely to get your money out of these new platforms as you are at the previously mentioned bank.
Please keep in mind that the statistics and calculations may not accurately reflect everyone's experience. Additionally, avoid using bots to stake/collect automatically. Likewise, do not spend your entire day on the computer playing games.
Alienworlds.io - 333 days at a rate of ten hours per day to recoup a $75 investment
UpLand - $60 investment will be repaid in 120 months if no structures, modifiers, or NFTs are purchased.
Multiverse VR - $60 investment and we'll see what happens! However, less than a month ago, individuals purchasing property for 500 coins were able to sell it for 5000 coins. There is currently no mechanism for investment, only a land grab.
NFTs - $10
Staked on Wax - $50 at a yearly annual percentage yield of 2.5 percent
At the moment, with NFTs, digital real estate, and cryptocurrency, we must be aware of this. There will be a few diamonds in the rough, but if you want to make money in the metaverse, this article recommends the following: Find creators who are just getting their projects' development underway. Locate games that are rapidly growing in terms of volume but do not yet have a sizable user base. Then assist in building, guiding, learning, teaching, and creating.
The metaverse does not reward laziness. It will reward those who are conscientious and passionate. Take care out there. Maintain records and avoid losing everything you own. Best wishes and Godspeed.
