Paula Abdul doesn't tell the truth. The 60-year-old singer's Instagram followers were confused on Sunday when she posted photos of herself that made her look 20 years younger than she is.
“„
@kathyhilton always throws the most fabulous holiday party. Merry Christmas!” the former American Idol judge, 60, captioned her post on Monday, December 26. “I hope everyone is having a wonderful day relaxing, celebrating and surrounded by friends and family. Sending you lots of love and holiday cheer.- Paula Abdul
Abdul posed with Heidi Klum, Jaclyn Smith, Paris Hilton, and Crystal Kung Minkoff from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" while at Kathy Hilton's Christmas party, but her fans were more interested in her Photoshop fail than in her famous friends.
When she posed with Crystal Kung Minkoff, Terri Seymour, and another friend, the singer, who is 60, looked 20 years younger. Several people on social media even joked that the Abdul in the photos was a fake.
“This looks like a completely different person,”one person wrote.“Where is Paula?” another chimed in, whereas multiple people wondered whether the “Opposites Attract” artist’s Instagram account got hacked.
“Someone stole Paula’s Insta … that’s an entirely different face [sic]!”one fan commented, whereas another wrote, “Did the account get hacked? Who am I looking at?”
Others told the famous dancer to be proud of her natural beauty. "You should be proud to age gracefully,”one fan commented, adding, “Why do you need these extreme filters! You’re making young girls and women feel that they need filters that they can’t be proud of themselves the way they are and that’s very very sad!”
“Please calm down on the photoshopping. Your [sic] gorgeous without it. No need to set false expectations/reality,”another agreed.
The former “American Idol” judge has not responded to her haters. Abdul hasn't talked about her Facetune mistake yet, but it looks like she had a great time at the star-studded holiday party. Paula didn't say anything in public about the many accusations.
But she has said before that she had work done on her face and body to make it look better when she was on The Wendy Williams Show in October 2019.
“„
I was thinking, 'I'm going to have my residency. I want to, you know, do something. But I wasn't ready to have the big incisions or any face lift. I found this company called InMode, and they have these procedures called FaceTite and BodyTite. And what I loved about it, it's minimally invasive, no visible scars. Downtime? I was out walking around two or three days later.- Paula Abdul
Paula told the doctor before the appointment that she was worried about "sagging skin and gravity." So, she wanted a little sleeker jawline she explained while motioning to her face at the time. Nearly two years later, the MTV Video Music Award winner said that she had breast reduction surgery because her implants felt too big for her body.
“„
With my height, I'm petite. I started with smaller breasts, and about 20-plus years ago, I had implants put in, and the more I was dancing, the harder it was getting on my back. As the years go by, gravity happens too, and I just always felt like [they were] a little too big for my frame, and I wanted to get the old implants out.- Paula Abdul
Paula Abdul is getting a lot of flak for her most recent Instagram post, which people on the internet are calling a photoshop fail.
After the American Idol judge posted a bunch of pictures from Kathy Hilton's annual Christmas party on Instagram, his followers seemed less interested in the fancy party and more interested in how different Abdul looked in the pictures.
In the party photos, the "Straight Up" singer was seen posing with the hostess and many other partygoers, such as Heidi Klum, Jaclyn Smith, Paris Hilton, and Crystal Kung Minkoff. But her fans couldn't help but notice that Abdul seemed to have edited the photos too much, making her look decades younger than she actually is.
