Prince George's Role in King Charles III's Coronation Revealed | E! News

At the upcoming coronation of his grandfather, King Charles III, Prince George will have a public role. George, who is 9, is the oldest child of Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales. At Charles' coronation on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, he will be one of four Pages of Honor.
George, who is second in line for the British throne, and the other pages are expected to walk behind Charles and hold his robes during the ceremony. In a statement to ABC News, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said,
We're all very excited about Prince George's role in the Coronation. It will be an incredibly special moment.- Kensington Palace spokesperson
The palace hasn't said for sure if Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, George's younger siblings, will be there. During the coronation service, George, who is second in line to the throne, and three other boys will be Pages of Honor for Charles, who is 74.
Camilla will be helped by her three grandsons and one great-nephew. The pages will also walk through the Nave of Westminster Abbey as part of the procession.
George's parents, Prince William, and Kate Middleton have talked a lot about him being in the coronation behind the scenes. They have tried to balance the unique honor with the stress it might put on their son's shoulders.
George will sit with Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, who is 13. He is the younger twin son of the Marquis of Cholmondeley, who was recently named Charles's Lord-in-Waiting, and his wife, Rose. Prince William and Kate Middleton's neighbors in Norfolk, Lord Cholmondeley, and his family live nearby. Nicholas Barclay and Ralph Tollemache are on the other two pages.
Camilla, on the other hand, has asked her grandsons to be by her side on the big day. Twin brothers Gus and Louis Lopes, 14, who are the sons of Camilla's daughter Laura Lopes, will be joined by Freddy Parker Bowles – the 13-year-old son of Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles. The palace said that Arthur Elliot, who is Camilla's great-nephew, will also join the group.
The rehearsals are happening in the Ballroom of Buckingham Palace, which is out of sight of the public. This lets palace staff, the family, and the clergy go through the service in private, while Westminster Abbey is still open to visitors. It is not yet known whether Camilla's children will play roles in the coronation, but they are expected to attend.
William and Kate, who are Charles's children, will be right in the middle of the coronation. It remains to be seen whether Charles' younger son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will attend.
Harry and Meghan, who live in California and are no longer senior working royals, confirmed in March that they are invited to the coronation, but they haven't said yet if they will go.

Conclusion

As one of his grandfather's four Pages of Honour, the youngest future king, Prince George coronation role will play an official role. Along with three other Pages of Honor, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Nicholas Barclay, and Ralph Tollemache will have to carry the King's robes. All three are the sons of people who are close to His Majesty.
The Queen has chosen her three grandsons, twins Gus and Louis Lopes, Freddy Parker Bowles, and her great-nephew Arthur Elliot to be her Pages of Honour.
