Remove Makeup Before Going To Bed

There is no bigger damage to your skin than going to bed with your make up on. Many of us do not have much choice than to wear makeup for long hours every day. It is common for any women to crash in bed with their makeup on. While some of us do it once in a while out of sheer exhaustion, many others simply do it because they do not find it important enough.
Your makeup products are loaded with chemicals that settle into your pores. Expect your skin to be in shackles if you are going to bed with your skin loaded with makeup regularly. Micellar water is your best friend for life. Just dab a piece of cotton with Micellar water and take your makeup off. Follow this by washing your face and applying a suitable nigh cream. If you are too exhausted and do not have much time, keep a pack of makeup wipes handy for a quick fix. However, do not make it a habit to sleep without washing your face.

Allow Your Skin To Breathe

Do not wear make up every single day. Give your skin some time to breath with nothing on it except may be a moisturizer. If you have a busy work schedule, keep Sunday for all the much needed pampering and a dedicated no make-up day. A chemical free day for your skin is the biggest favors that you can do to your skin health. While you are going no makeup, understand that it means that you will not be wearing even a concealer on that day. It is okay to embrace those pigments for a day.

Avoid Dehydration

Sleep Well

If your brain is not well rested, it will show up on your skin. Puffy eyes and dark circles are usually because you do not get enough sleep, and more importantly timely sleep. You need to put away your phone while being in bed and try to sleep as early as possible. The better you sleep, the fresher and glowing your skin will be. Ideally, try going to bed as early as possible to get at least eight hours of sleep.

Eat Healthy

One of the greatest misconceptions about healthy eating is that it is only important for your body to be in good shape. Many people are unaware, that your skin is also what you eat. If your diet is all about spicy and greasy fast foods, do not be surprise with acne and excess oil on your skin. If your diet does not include a rich source of vitamins and protein, expect a patchy skin. Your skin cells get their nutrition from what you eat, which is why some people have better skins than other. Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Fresh cream and yoghurt are also amazing for a bright skin. Avoid those burgers and pizzas at all costs.
