Michelle Lujan Grisham Bernalillo County Commissioner Michelle Lujan Graham announced Tuesday she is running for the Democratic nomination in the 1st Congressional District. “I’m running for Congress because we are under attack in this country,” Grisham said in remarks released to the media. “A band of right-wing radicals in Congress has hijacked our country and put the interests of their corporate masters ahead of the middle class, seniors and the most vulnerable among us.” Grisham won a seat on the Board of County Commissioners in 2010
