The Carlisle Development Group writes to The Florida Independent today that the company is “taking immediate and aggressive steps to address” allegations by construction workers that they have not received wages for work done on the Northwest Gardens affordable housing project managed by Carlisle. # Early this week, Fort Lauderdale construction workers told the Independent that between 40 and 50 workers have not received their wages for anywhere from three weeks to two months, and are owed between $1,600 and $3,500.
